A Brief Family History

How we all got here...

This site is intended as a view to the past as well as the present for all of those interested in where they came from and where they are going.

This was done so that our children will know where they came from and to be proud of their heritage. If it wasn't for their ancestors doing what they did, we wouldn't be here today. What if you had not met your spouse? Or what if you had married that childhood sweetheart first instead of the person you did marry? Or suppose you find another in the future and create a whole new group of descendants, as well as to have added on more ancestors.

Suppose one thing had changed or been different at some point in the past. Where would you be now? Or would you be now? These questions cannot be answered but they can be dealt with. You are here now! Look what you've created! Each person has two parents, four grandparents, eight great grandparents, and so on. Because of all of that falling into place the way it did, you are here and your descendants are here. Change one of those people and you change everything that happened after you.

This site is not complete and will never be complete. There will be future children and there will come a point where it is impossible to find all of the ancestors that ever were. It is however a compilation of what is known at this point.

There are undoubtedly misprints, mispellings, and mistakes. Should any be discovered it would be greatly appreciated if they could be corrected.

At this point there are few biographies. Some are longer than others because some are personal memories actually known and told to the writers or by the writers. Great care is being given to keeping all notes and references. All help is welcomed!

Please enjoy and it is hoped it stirs some memories for you and causes you to tell that extra story to a child or grandchild that will last in their minds and memories to pass on to their children and grandchildren.
